Who I am and my mission

Hi, I am Saint John Thomson, a student at Kearsney College in Hillcrest South Africa. Swimming has been a part of my life since I was little, and has become a focus of mine. I have always wanted to put my talents to use and towards a worthy cause. I have decided to swim in the annual 8-mile Midmar charity swim, in February 2020. the swim is 12.8km. I am swimming for Rhino conservation because as you are aware rhino are being poached daily and will soon be extinct. I want you to be a part of my cause and that you will donate towards this, and prevent rhino poaching! Thank you.

My goal

Every little bit helps

The charity and required amount:

 12 000 rands

I am required to raise a base amount of 12 000 rands for my chosen charity. The charity I have chosen is  Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Save-the-Rhino, 8mile club campaign.

My aim and goal:

30 000 rands

My goal is to raise 30 000 rands. I feel this will make a far bigger difference, and with your help, we can make our contribution towards stopping rhino poaching altogether!

3...per day

Rhino poaching statistics

At a rapid rate of 3 rhino per day-that is 1 rhino every 8 hours-are being poached. This is no joke, that means 1100+ rhinos per year! Make your contribution to preventing this from happening...every little bit helps.
